Guest guest
hey, day 17 of our rotation already! it is going by quickly. todays workout was: - AM: walk: 70 minutes in beautiful sunny weather with a dog who was heeling perfectly the whole time! i really enjoyed this. - AM: abs: kari anderson's 'curl' which is 20 mins of crunch variations. i used my stability ball for the first part, until she started working the lower abs with legs lifted. i got alot of burn out of this workout today. - PM: bike: 25 minutes... chinook cracks me up because he starts off running so very fast. i have to pedal fast to keep up to him... he knows nothing about a proper warmup! but it doesnt last too long, he usually goes to a trot at the halfway point, if not sooner. - PM: yoga: 30 mins: rainbeau mars' 'pure tranquility' - basic poses that combined with the breath is very relaxing... i sometimes need a break from more challenging yoga and this one is good for just letting everything go, mentally. meant as a prep for meditation and the dvd includes a bonus meditation segment. i just needed a stress reliever... trying to get our 8 year old son to do his homework each day can be very trying. i feel alot better now!! oh, rainbeau says alot of nice things in this practice and the hawaiian scenery is gorgeous. she tells us to 'enjoy our breath' too often, but she is right about that, so i dont let it bother me. tomorrow is a shorter walk in the morning, followed by 'ripped'.. evening is a bike ride followed by a stretch. the weather is supposed to be fantastic tomorrow, im looking forward to getting a bunch of yard work done after my workout. :*carolyn.
