Guest guest
I'm kind of long winded this week :)Vennitta 09/08/07 Get Ripped 100070 min - YIKES. I REALLY like this workout! The cardio segments are about 1:30 min ea, I didn't count them but since there were 22 chapters my guess is that there were 9-11 cardio segments. Between the cardio segments are high rep weight segments. I really like that there are true modifications, if you don't have a step bench there is always one person that doesn't use a bench, there is a cardio modification option on the DVD (my modifications are somewhere in-between ), and Jari always has one student doing modifications of the other moves. Cathe fans, shield your eyes, one of the things I love about Jari over Cathe is that even though her workouts can be at an advanced level I feel like I will be able to do the ripped workout AND there are modifications AND I don't need as much space. What I wish from 1000? That bench positioning be queued. I'll try to do this workout at least once a week :)09/07/07 TheFIRM Hard Core Fusion45 min. Hmm, I felt a good challenge with this today, I think I increased my weights slightly. Even with favoring my fussy sciatic I got a very good workout09/06/07 TheFIRM Total Body Toner40 min. This workout is excellent! Tougher than I expected YAY! Every muscle got worked, I'm already feeling it - yippee 09/05/07 Get Ripped55 min. I did this workout because it's under an hour and I figured the movements wouldn't jar my irritated sciatic nerve. The only move that was a no-no were the lying leg lifts (go figure) so I did a standing version 09/04/07Rest dayThis was not planned but I got the definite " don't do it " from my chiro after he examined my sciatic - LOL - for once I listened and just iced the area. He also wants me to not wear heels - the horror!09/03/07 TheFIRM Burn & Shape40 min. This was a good workout. It uses regular old dumbbells and queues for heavy weights, imagine. There are toning and low impact cardio segments butI tried to use heavier weights but now I might have early sciatica, luckily I have a doctor's appt tomorrow so it should be nipped in the bud or at least get some treatment. I won't stop working out though-- Get Fit! Weight loss will follow
