Guest guest
I went to chili¹s once and thought I was ordering healthy with a grilled chicken salad and then when I went to the web site I found that most of the salads on the menu were close to or more than 1000calories and had fat contents up to 30 BEFORE salad dressing...geez... Here are the stats w dressing: Chicken Caesar Salad w/dressing [w/o crackers] (1010 cal/76 g fat/7 g fiber/39 g carbs) Southwestern Cobb Salad [w/o dressing & w/o crackers] (650 cal/32 g fat/8 g fiber/49 g carbs) on 4/26/06 9:34 PM, Jen atjsv5765@..., wrote: > I'm in week 1 of Challenge 3, doing very well, eating clean and not > cheating at all (that was a problem during challenge 2). Guest guest
The worst thing you did was google your free day meal! (try not to call it a cheat meal. cheat=guilt!) That meal is spose to be your reward for hard work and not to feel guilty about. Its the only way I stay sane and stay on plan! I dont think ill ever google my favorite free day foods...movie theatre popcorn and milkduds! Plus, ive made progress having free days, without the dreaded guilt! Guest guest
Chili's is another place where it's hard to find meals within reason. They have a few healthy choices, but they just don't taste very good and are very dry. If I am eating out, I feel like I have to justify my money spent and eat something very good. I'm sure you've read the Bill article about ordering at fast food restaurants, but it's basically " order a grilled chicken sandwich or grilled chicken salad with no condiments or dressing. " But when you're eating chicken every day as part of BFL, chicken at restaurants is so boring. My idea of a cheat meal is something in the 5-600 calorie range. 1,000 calories for a sandwich or a salad is ridiculous and so not worth it. Guest guest
At Chili's, I go for the grilled chicken with lots of extra veggies. Caesar dressing is loaded w/ fat and calories!!!! Get those salads plain! Guest guest
The chicken pita at Chili's is pretty good, but those darn chips and salsa are just so tempting!
