Guest guest
had a small umbilical granuloma (something triggered this today as I had completely forgotten about it until now) and he was treated with silver nitrate. Does anyone know if this is a risk to our kids? It says on Wiki that silver nitrate is highly toxic!!!!! I can't believe that this was applied to an open wound on his stomach! AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wonder is is absorbed transdermally? Did anyone else's kid have an umbilical granuloma and have this treatment? Anyone who knows anything about this in relation to ASD, I would be grateful for any information as if it is risky for our kids, I'll be down to the doc tomorrow asking him some questions..... Thanks! Darla
