CONGRATULATIONS! You look awesome! Really!!

Thanks so much also for posting your along-the-way pics. I know

that I am at a stage where even though Tanita shows a drop in BF%

and measurements are getting smaller and, people at the gym are

making lots of comments and, I can at least button that smallest

size jean I was shooting for... the mirror, in my eyes, shows no

changes.

When I look at your pics the before and final after are worlds

apart. But I'm thinking there must have been some time along the

way when you thought your changes weren't going to be that

amazing?? SO, just the fact that you stuck with it and got such a

great result makes me want to forge ahead despite the many non-

perfect days I've had.

Anyway, thanks again!! You are an inspriation to me and I'm sure to

many others here!

Elise- Definitely FORGE AHEAD. There were some low points along the

way for me. The self-doubt, the eyes that didn't see the me that

other people were already seeing. But, people like those of you in

this group and my family were there to tell me that changes WERE

happening.

I'd heard about the 'magical' week 8. I didn't have that happen to me

so much at that point, but by week 9-10 or so I felt like I was going

to make it. The 'ah-ha' time must be different for everyone. But, in

the end- BFL WORKS!!!

Snoopie: I followed the book- the cardio and workout plans. I used

the authorized food list. I did have my higher carb meals early in

the day, though. And, I stayed as close to the 40/40/20 guideline over

the course of a day, as I could. Best of all- my free days were true,

all day free days. I felt guilty from time to time but I had my

husband here to remind me that they are part of the program for a

reason. Our bodies need them and they are a part of the BFL lifestyle

that makes it work FOR LIFE.

I wish each of you success in your own journey of transformation.

Thanks for checking the pics and sharing your comments. You are

making this permanent smile on my face even bigger- if that's even

possible!!

Wow! You look fantastic! Thanks for inspiring us by sharing your

incredible transformation. I like what you said about the beginning

of your Body For Life (I think that's how you put it). We have to

remember that it doesn't end once the 12 weeks are over--they are

only the beginning!

Annie, you look incredible! Do you have any stats on your losses

(weight, bf, inches, etc)? Just curious. And what goals did you

meet/exceed?

- here are my 'stats'

I'm 43; 5' 8.5 " tall and started at 149 lbs and bf% of 19.8 (according

to the calipers measurement taken at the YMCA)

My goals: Get lean, 138 lbs, 15% BF.

My results: 135 lbs, 13.6% BF (BF was done with an accu measure

calipers at home. Either it is low or the starting bf% was low- but

either way I believe that I made my goal of dropping in the range of

5%. ??)

My goals for the next 12 weeks: Develop muscle and maintain fat loss

achieved.

I got right back to HIIT and Weights this week and eating clean after

my C1 free day on Sunday. Wish me luck!
