Interior Health Authority is taking steps to address a problem of

mould found in Cariboo Memorial Hospital nursery.

Cariboo administrator Ruault says that test results confirm

that some mould has been found in the sink area of the nursery and

she says the sink has been sealed off and is not being used so there

is no risk to moms and newborns on the ward.

Ruault says the health authority is doing further testing in the

nursery area and is waiting for the results of this next set of

tests before finalizing a long term plan for the nursery.
