Guest guest
I don't feel good after I indulge. I'm trying to figure out -- through trial and error -- what I can have for a " treat " and still feel good afterwards. Right now I'm about to make a pumpkin pie-type treat to see if I 1) enjoy it 2) feel good after eating it. It does feel good to feel good during the week. Good enough that I'm determined to figure out how to have a " treat " a feel good after that too. For me it's not sugar craving so much as nausea, fatigue type symptoms. A tad of mood swing, but that might just be because I don't feel good. Hard to be happy when you feel like %$#*( & felicity
Guest guest
On another note, do any of you eat protein bars? I'm back to work part time so I'm thinking a protein bar is quick and convenient for a meal. I work 4-midnight so something around 9 p.m. so I'm not going too long without a meal. I tried Pria bars the other day and they were delicious! > > I don't feel good after I indulge. > I'm trying to figure out -- through trial and error -- what I can > have for a " treat " and still feel good afterwards. > Right now I'm about to make a pumpkin pie-type treat to see if I 1) > enjoy it 2) feel good after eating it. > It does feel good to feel good during the week. > Good enough that I'm determined to figure out how to have a " treat " a > feel good after that too. > For me it's not sugar craving so much as nausea, fatigue type > symptoms. Guest guest
You can do whatever you want on free day. I like to eat sugar by itself and fall asleep sitting up. I look forward to it all week. :-) That's not for everybody though. If the mood swings and energy crash are taking all the fun out of it, having some protein with your sugar will keep things more stable. And it doesn't have to be totally bizarre, it could be as easy as having scrambled eggs with your pancakes, steak with your cheesecake, or a protein shake with your stack of chocolate chip cookies. > > > One of the > > worst things you could do on BFL is to eat a sugary treat by itself > > (no protein).
