Guest guest
Found it. This is the enzymestuff reply on Candex. Sally Here is an excerpt from Enzymes: Go With Your Gut on the 'no die-off' issue: Certain yeast-fighting enzyme products promote there is 'no die-off' when using these enzyme products. However, the majority of people I have talked to using these same products reported they definitely did experience die-off reactions. The people taking such a product fully expect to feel great from the very beginning. They end up completely shocked when they get standard die-off symptoms with these enzymes. The product claims say the enzymes can kill yeast with no die-off discomfort, but experience proves this is not so. If you use such a product without die-off symptoms, great! But if you do experience die-off reactions, please do not think you did something wrong. This is common. The good news is that at least this is evidence these products do appear to be working on the yeast. Take the 'no die-off symptoms' with a grain of salt, or the entire salt shaker, and a bit of marketing. A technical person at one supplement company relayed that the 'no die-off' is relative to the amount of total die-off usually seen with prescription antifungals where you may have a set dose of medication given at set times. With enzymes, you can lower the dose if you need to, and then add more enzymes later. You have more control over how fast you sustain die- off symptoms (or not) and can proceed at a rate that is more comfortable. It is true that taking enzymes may lead to relatively fewer adverse die-off reactions that other yeast control measures. The reason is that the enzymes present in the product, especially the proteases, can facilitate clearing out the debris from killed yeast or bacteria cells. This leaves less debris to cause adverse reactions. But it would be quite misleading to say you are guaranteed not to experience any die-off reactions at all with enzymes. With any pathogen control measure, you may see die-off symptoms if the die-off is happening faster than your body can remove the waste. You can always try adding in more proteases and see if this helps relieve any die-off discomfort. A general rule of thumb is to add two capsules of strong protease enzyme for each capsule of a good quality yeast-targeting enzyme. . No virus found in this incoming message.
