Happy Independence Day to KC, Sharon and everyone on this site.

Tlee and I are officially classifed as homeless now. We got our

studio, musical instruments, pcs, some antiques and treasured

musical awards and lifelong momentos into storage (thanks to the

kindness of a very dear lady), have no idea what can be saved, if

anything..The other half of our life will

be hauled away, probably tomorrow. But we have our LIFE, thus far.

We are so thankful for this site. Despite all the problems we

face in America, we still love our country. We want to honor

our troops, Veterans and many who gave their very all in

the name of freedom. We wrote our songs from the heart and

NOBODY can steal that from us, tho' insurers and many Drs.

do not even show us human decency. Please visit our songramp site,

and I hope to put more about the deadly illness that is affecting

people all across this nation on all sites I can access. It would

mean a lot to us, if you'd go hear and share these patriotic

songs and true tributes to real life situations..If not today,

keep the link..I know it's a holiday and have a happy one.

This link will work and you can hear our entire songs, view lyrics

and story behind each song. You may have to type the link in..but

it will go directly to our homepage.

We wish you all a Happy Independence Day. This is a song of

patriotism to play any time, tho it was written a month or so after

911..May our motto for this country remain true..and remember our

troops daily! Lyrics Iris, music/vocals Tlee

American Pride Copyright Iris & Tlee

It's true our wing is broken

But the eagle proudly flies

Many prayers so humbly spoken

For the hurt and those who died

No one will ever count the rivers

As a nation we have cried

Yet you'll never steal the spirit

Of " American Pride "

We're proud and we are loyal

Home of the brave and ever true

Old Glory's still a'waving

Stars and stripes, red white and blue

We are walking hand in hand

And we're marching side by side

So you'll never steal the spirit

Of " American Pride "

B

New York, The Empire, crumbled

But " ever upward " , love conquers hate

'Virtue, liberty and independence', Pennsylvania our " Keystone State "

'Thus ever to tyrants', Virginia says, " you've sealed your fate "

C

For our motto still holds true

" In God we trust "

The world has heard our warning

" Don't tread on us "

For we'll only grow stronger

And it surely is a must

We'll draw closer together

Be united as one

Rise up and shine

As the early morning sun

We shall not be defeated

Or our freedom be denied

You'll never steal the spirit

Of " American Pride "

You'll never steal the spirit

Of " American Pride "

Music is all we have left, I thank KC for allowing us to share a

part of our hearts. I may put the lyrics to the other songs in

other posts. I can at least feel some sense of having something

in my life still. Sorry, not gonna cry..rather,

I am thankful for LIFE and I must survive and complete my

book and environmental CD. I am determined to TRULY make a

difference in our fight again toxic illnesses. Pray for us..

We also have a link where our CDs are in a store..If you'd

like to order them..we'd already pledged a % to charity..before

we knew we were poisoned so severely..I'll still honor that.
