10% Weight Loss Goal: 188.82 Waist Goal: 30 inches ULTIMATE GOAL WEIGHT RANGE: 97 - 123 lbs I lost weight this week YEAH! I started snacking on fresh-cut veges with some dip and that was the only thing I did differently and I lost weight....CRAZY! I hope that I lose again next week. Jen

Way to go Jen!!!

Losing weight because you snacked on veggies doesn't sound crazy at all! In fact, that's what I normally snack on to maintain my weight (and I gain when I switch back to mindless grazing, I have to watch myself on low sleep and/or high stress days to avoid that). Veggies keep you full longer than a lot of other snack foods do so you end up eating less plus they're low in calories and fat too (sounds like your dip might be too). Here's a new dip idea if you need one: I mix fat-free plain yogurt and fat-free sour cream (I use Breakstone's because it is nice & thick) with ranch dressing mix. It is very low in calories, fat-free and delicious! Some people do the same dip in the blender, add veggies and blend them into the mix too.

I all ready ate veges but just added them (raw veges) to eat at night after dinner when I may be a little hungry. So if I'm losing by doing that then that's good, right? Yes, it should help you lose weight, because you're (I'm assuming) not eating higher calorie/fat food if you're eating veggies instead plus, getting lots of healthy foods in you will make you feel great too! :-)
