An elementary school in Biddeford is closed for the next few weeks,

because of a mold problem. The mold was found in the carpeting at

the Biddeford Primary School, on Hill Street.

Staffers who were working there over the summer have been moved out.

The school board will take bids for the cleanup at a meeting

Thursday night. School officials expect the school to be ready to

open when classes start in September.
