Guest guest
Hi, Last night I did do the SI Joint Practice from Yoga for Stress Relief (Body Wisdom - Barbara Benagh). A good restorative practice that focuses on the back and hips. I did feel better after doing it - although my back is still tight. This morning I did Slim Series Mix it Up. I enjoyed this one - fairly typical of the Slim Series - but a good workout with alot of variety. On the never-ending saga of my back - I'm wondering if I have overstretched my lower back muscles - I'm thinking that is a possibility from doing the " tuck " in the Lotte Berk/Bar Method workouts. And, I wonder if that overstretching is what has resulted in a feeling of weakness/instability and tightness. I wonder now if more stretching isn't counter-productive? I'm confused! I was thinking of trying more stabilization exercises to get the muscles stronger again - hmm...something to think about. I found in my collect a VHS tape - Stott's Pain Free Posture Level 2. I'm thinking of trying that tonight and seeing how it feels and if it is something I should add on a regular basis. I think it is only 30 min. Hope everyone has a great day!
