Guest guest
Dear Sharon (and Geir), I read that Jordan Rubin has concerns about Strep Therm. I read his book " Patient Heal Thyself " http://www.crohns.net/page/C/PROD/Garden_Of_Life/GAN6500 and was impressed with how he healed his life-threatening irritable bowel. I didn't realise at first that he is the maker of Primal Defence. Jordan mentions that he has concerns about streptococcus thermophilus and I wondered if this was perhaps something that had aggravated Eddie - becuase we had had a very difficult time with him tolerating probiotics and in fact got started with Boulardii. We now use Primal Defence a lot (but are rotating) - it really really suits Eddie. It seems that he gets on better with probios without it. I feel sure enough to go to the trouble of avoiding it - but I couldn't be totally sure (if you know what I mean) that this is a problem for him. Eddie does have a persistent 4+ Strep imbalance his intestine that we have been completely unable to move. I am hoping that I can help with this as I explore Yasko. I did wonder if Strep Therm and intestinal strep were related - I think I will post a question about it. Sharon - I love your idea of the coconut yoghurt!
