Guest guest
Joanne, When ours was getting high yeast she would often crave carbohydrate things, if chips are potatoes that is. Never can remember if you call potatoes chips or biscuits, but both are high in carbohydrates. She was at her worst in the beginning when she was hypoglycemic, she would cry at the mention of food, say she wasn't hungry and then 10 minutes after she started eating would be a totally different, cheerful, pleasant kid. Zinc, with food helped ours eat, zinc on an empty stomach killed her appetite. Probiotics helped, chelation helped, only Armour thyroid solved the problem for good. She eats like a normal 5 now...sometimes everything in sight...sometimes not so good. But if she doesn't eat one meal she'll pig out at the next. My dd also quit offering anything after dinner as ours had learned to not eat much for dinner and wait for her snack. One night of my dd saying sorry breakfast is at 7am was enough for ours to stop this, but she's pretty easy. I empathize with you, I can't stand not to see them eat, drives me crazy. Hope you find your answer. My boy won't eat, i think he is "sick" of GF/CF Anybody have a 3 yr old who has decided he won't eat?I know there can be so many reasons for not eating, but its driving me nuts. I dont want to even approach our boy with food cause i know what is going to happen, there is going to be a huge tantrum and i will end up feeling awful.kids have to eat though. I think he is sick of our GF/CF diet. He got a taste for chips and i think he thinks every meal should be chips!any advice?? We have tried all kinds of recipes and approaches.
