afternoon all, finally!!! got a workout. i went with this one b/c it was a virgin workout and i figured it had some modifications to make it easier if need be. opposed to her first one,this one had a warm up and stretches between the lower and upper body segments as well as one after the upper body. the workouts themsevles are still 20 mins. the first part was lower body. with squats,lunges, and different variations for balance this was a tough workout for me this morning. i guess after gliding its hard to do one legged deadlifts. if you have done the secrets of the lower body workout i would say this is a shortened version done partially on one leg. no floor work though. it was slow paced for part of it but if enough focus it could work. i was just struggling with it this morning the second part was upper body which was split into standing and floor work. the standing work was arms and shoulders

with two upper body exercises. the twist was just that, you performs the shoulder press and bicep curls with a trunk rotation. it didn't seem to make it harder but it made it different.she also did tricep kickbacks with a pulse on top,no twist. she did two sets of the arms and shoulder work but only one set of back flyes and back rows. for floor work it was one set of chest flyes, then various push ups even push ups to work the fingers that was something different but i could see how it could work. there was also slow motion tricep pushups. i did't struggle to hard on this segment but i did work. after an upper body stretch there was a short ab routine with crunch variations and little plank work. this was also done slower paced to keep out momentum. there were only two ppl with kathy on this segment while she instructed they worked. for the rest of the dvd there was a larger class with some familiar

faces. some were doing easier modifications,some harder, and most inbetween. so there was something to pick up when you couldn't do the full range. there were so negative reviews i have read, and while i can see they were expecting something the same as the first video, i really didn't see anything wrong with this one at all. it just works thing different, meant more for a core strength type workout whereas vol.1 seemed to go for more traditional lifiting for defining muscles. i think they complement each other but if i were being forced to pick one, it would still be the first one hands down. i will have to do a kathy rotation again sometime and work with both volumes together and see how that works out. have a great day kassia ldy_solana's
