Hi!

Yesterday I did TJ Cardio Party # 1 and some

stretching on my own. I hadn't done # 1 in some time

so it was good to re-visit it. I worked up quite a

sweat - the humidity here is off the charts. I'm not

complaining though, I'd rather have heat and humidity

than cold any day.

Today I'm taking my normal rest day. Then tomorrow

I'm going to start back up with my regular

Sunday-Friday workout routine. I'm going to do Turbo

Jam instead of PHH. It just seems to be my 'go to'

series when I'm coming back from vacatin or a workout

lay-off. I have zero dread with these workouts.

Here's the plan so far (subject to substitutions)

- Sunday - Cardio Party Remix and Booty Sculpt

- Monday - Cardio Party # 2

- Tues - Kick, Punch & Jam and 3T (I figured the short

band section in KP & J would flow nicely into the 3T

band workout)

- Wed - CP # 3

- Thurs - Turbo Sculpt and Ab Jam (maybe a substitute)

- Friday - Ball workout (or " open " )

That'll leave me a few TJs to fit into the Ripped

Rotation, but I think it'll work! I think for the

Ripped Rotation I'm going to alternate floor cardio,

step cardio, kickboxing and the Treadmill on the

cardio days.

Oh - is this the Ripped plan?

Day 1- Cardio, Abs & Yoga

Day 2- Ripped & Stretch

Day 3 - Cardio, Abs & Yoga

Day 4 - Slim & Lean & Stretch

Day 5 - Cardio, Abs & Yoga

Day 6- Ripped to the Core & Stretch

Day 7 - rest or long stretch

Have a great day! I have to take DD to meet Dora the

Explorer at the Mall.

Take care,

Donna

I may start on Sunday, only b/c I like to have my restday fall on Saturday. I was also toying with the ideaof doing the Ripped workouts on Sunday, Tues and Thursand Cardio on M, W & F. It is somehow less dauntingfor me to do a strength workout on Sunday morning thana cardio one - what do you think?

I would actually like to start when everyone else does and have us ALL do the same workouts on the same days, it just seems more fun. I know that probably isn't possible for all of us to do that. I personally hate doing cardio on Fridays and I would rather do my cardio on Sun, tue and thurs. So who all is doing this rotation?

I'm in, but my week starts on Sunday. I only have Ripped, but I'll sub for the other two. I have to admit the cardio days scare me - that's a lot to fit in one day!

My mother will be visiting for 2 weeks in September, but I'll do my best to work around her. At least she's a walker/jogger, so I know I'll get in plenty of cardio! (she's 70, but she can outwalk me any day. She's finally slowing her pace down a bit, but she still could go for hours)

in cooler, drier Ontario

yay!!! im glad that you going to join us, lisa! yeah, my weeks

normally start on sundays too (i guess because that is what the

calendar says...LOL)

sure!

oh, make your cardio workouts as short (or as long) as you want.

20, 30 mins or whatever you want. same with abs... normally i

would just do 10 mins of abs in this rotation. even 5 mins of abs

is enough, if the reps are of good quality. the yoga (or

stretching) that i do will probably be 20-30 mins. it is your

workout, so do what you like.

Hi ,

My weeks usually start on Sunday also, however, for

the first week of the rotation, I'm probably going to

workout on Saturday, skip Sunday, and pick it back up

on Monday. We'll be out of town for an overnight trip

from Sat to Sunday.

Oh, it really isn't too much - you can make the

cardio, abs or yoga workout as long or as short as you

need to. I often use the 10 Min Solution workouts to

fit it in - I typically don't do two workouts a day!

Take care,

Donna

i am starting on the 3rd b/c now that i am back to work tomorrow, i want to have a rest day from workouts on sundays. i have cardio for MWF, and T,TH,SAT i am doing ripped or another endurance style workout. on cardio days i will add any core work whether traditional ab work or pilates. and most likely breaking that up into two workouts for that day. kassiaDonna M-P wrote: Hi ,My weeks usually start on Sunday also, however, forthe first week of the rotation, I'm probably going toworkout on Saturday, skip Sunday, and pick it back upon Monday.
