Guest guest
Etana, If you share some of the details of what feels difficult about the evening hours, we might be able to brainstorm some possible solutions to try Evenings got easier for me when I remembered to have some green tea at 4:00 with a big glass of extra water. Go figure?? I also do better by marching on a foam pad (shoes on) to watch the evening videao rather than lounging. (I did have to give up commercials as they trigger me I trick myself by saying I only do the marching (etc.) for 5 minutes, then I can stop if I want to Day after day, year after year, that same trick works and I STILL have to lean on it to get my self upright I know if I had 3 dogs they would motivate me to be active too, but I can't cope with the other details of pet ownership right now...I have the husband and 2 kids to cope with M. >9. Guest guest
, Hahaha , an affirmation: I am doing terrific with my evenings eating clean! What I am working on that I am resisting is doing the projects and chores I set for myself for the evening, instead of TV, email, surfing the web, and spontaneous unplanned cooking/cleaning the kitchen.. Anything I say I will do for myself, I then want to do something else! And my life works so wonderfully when I do what I say I will do; it generates real peace. My projects: USE the TIMER!!! (not happening, but a real key for me I think) 1. 15 min zone from Flylady.net 2. 15 min declutter and beautify my office 3. My office was my 1 month challenge, but it has become my 3month challenge, as I saw I was taking on too much for the 3-month challenge 4. Preparing dinner and tomorrow's food 5. One art sketch / week (not happening) 6. One day of desk work and finanancial reconciling (sometimes) 7. One day of building a website (yes, very good progress here) 8. 2-4 hours/week of studying art (not happening) 9. Making a backup system for my computer (not happening) 10. Writing my will (not happening) 11. Fun (sort of happening, but not clear-headed fun that I have done my chores and now I deserve to have fun) 12. Fun attitude while doing my chores and projects <G> M. wrote If you share some of the details of what feels difficult about the evening hours, we might be able to brainstorm some possible solutions to try wrote: >9.
