Guest guest
I just read an interesting article on sleep quality in the online version of the New York Times. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/07/11/health/11patt.html It seems to me that one of the most destructive aspects of mold-related illness, for me at least, was the way that it disturbed my sleep patterns so dramatically. Sleep is when the body repairs itself, and without good sleep, things just fall apart. I found that cholestyramine helped me sleep better.. (I was often getting up in the middle of the night to take a middle-of-the-night dose, which seemed to calm the inflammation I would feel in my upper body quite a bit..) Melatonin - in addition to improving sleep, also is a powerful antioxidant.. It seemed to help me sleep.. I also found SAM-E and 5-HTP to be helpful for me.. YMMV.
