She will initially need to lose weight and body fat by doing lots of low impact cardio while strength training to get rid of that tummy. Of course, doing a daily abdominal routine is excellent, will get her to that goal more quickly, and does help hold everything in together in a little better. To lose body fat I would recommend to her what you've been doing all along - Sansone workouts! Great for any age, any level.
