I am looking for stories or evidence about mold expoure causing death.

(evidence).

There is a journalist in Denmark that is interested, and hopefully

will make a documentary for us here in Europe.

This problem or at least knowledge about it is growing in Europe.

He is interested to know if there is any linkage to death since 1997,

when the infant death was linked to mold in USA.

If you can send me stories or webpages I would be really greatful,

Everything that is supported with evidence or some law cases.

Thank you all

Sylgia -

I have one - my neighbor from my old apartment died unexpectedly in 2004 at 36

after developing a seizure disorder, fungal skin sores (so did the family dog)

and asthma (and other auto immune, GI & neuro complaints). His mother ordered

pathology work which shows a HUGE amount of the mycotoxin trichothecene in his

lung tissue - he clearly had trichothecene mycotoxicosis. The pathologist has,

or very soon will, submit an article on my neighbor's situation to one of the

American journals of pathology, I'm not sure which. We have four months left on

our statute to file in court, and having been turned down by law firm after law

firm that said we have a good case but because 'pain and suffering' damages are

limited in California have been capped they don't have enough monetary potential

to pursue the case for us.

So I'm going to represent her - I wanted to go to law school many moons ago,

and here's a chance to knock myself out in righting a wrong.

The Coroner has been treating us like we're seriously stupid - they initially

claimed 'no evidence of mold' when the autopsy did not have any testing to

demonstrate this assertion. Then when we sent them the pathology report, they

acknowledged it, but said there was no 'evidence of fungal disease.' Well, we

demonstrated a *poisoning* from a mycotoxin - not athlete's foot or

aspergillosis or other *infection* from mold - they are two TOTALLY different

dangers of mold exposure. I think the Coroner's office actually thought we'd

going away at this point, but we have our County Supervisor's office on the case

to make sure we get represented adequately - they don't have any facts to back

up their assertion. We have solid proof.

We've been on this a year and a half now, and I'm quite sure we'll get through

it with recognition of what happened, but for now, the *proof* we have is the

pathology report of the trichothecene finding.

I'll be happy to talk to a journalist/documentarian about this...actually,

when we get to trial, we're hoping to have it filmed/taped. We believe it will

change some things here in California.
