Payments are made for services such as contraception,VACCINATIONS, child health and chronic disease clinics. >>Payments were always made for these things, in 1990 they STOPPED FUNDING per jab given and changed it do they had to meet a target to get paid anythign at all - several parctice nurses lost their jobs, some poractises don;t get paid anythign at all for giving jabs because they don;t meet the targets. Your GP gets paid about £20 PER YEAR to provide 24 hour servioce 365 days per year - if they didn;t get paid for the extras how long do you think they would be GP's? NOthing chanbged accept THEY HAVE to see a certain number and COLLECT DATA for the givernemnt (very cheap in those terms) to get paid at all.
