I only rarely use an exfoliant on my face (I have extremely sensitive skin and it reacts very strongly to the slightest little irritants.) The one that I use when I do use anything is rice bran and oatmeal, very finely powdered. You'd think that if it's powdered, it wouldn't scrub and exfoliate, but it does. But what do I use every time I shower? Water. And my fingertips. That does the exfoliating trick all on its own. I like the after effect better than anything else I've used. Cheers! Guest guest
I have been mixing up red raspberry, chardonnay grapeseed and blueberry seed flour. This is perfect ingredient for natural or organic personal care products requiring a vibrant infusion of color and texture. The phytonutrients in the berry exfoliants and powders are also effective against pathogenic bacteria such as Vibrio cholerae, Shigella dysenteriae, Campylobacter spp., Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Campylobacter and are ideal for use in skin care and acne preparations. For now, I am experimenting with several types of clay which I have whipped up in my kitchen aid mixer and then add the various seed flour and essential oils. I also have added 100% cold pressed fruit seed oils into the mix, the blueberry seed oil is out of this world. Guest guest
Hi Andrine and all, I love oatmeal, it makes your skin very soft and silky. My recipe is Oatmeal, honey, eos and rose water....apply and scrub while your skin is wet and voila! hahaha Once, I even mixed oatmeal with coffee and there was this waking coffee scent in the bathroom! (not need for morning coffee!) For face I also use oatmeal, honey and lemon! Angi

And it worked. Her face was always so soft and her skin looked fantastic. She put it on before she put on make up and then she used it to take off the makeup at night, and then slathered more on to sleep in. I prefer virgin coconut oil, but I've also used olive. (I'm addicted to the smell of the coconut oil!) Andrine

For make-up remover, it's equal parts canola, castor, and olive oils.
Guest guest
Hi Where are you getting blueberry seed flour? Sounds scrumptous Bb These ingredients are from a company in Canada, I & W Research (www.i-and-w.com) I sampled their entire collection of cold pressed seed oils and seed flour for a client who is creating a skin care line. The smell and taste of the cold pressed seed oils is right on and seem relatively stable, one year into testing. Their products are also certified organic with the NOP and EcoCert. I have personally whipped a few things for myself that I absolutely love.
