Guest guest
Hi , I've read the Vitamin K paper you're referring to, rather too quickly I'm afraid. I also read Owen's comments (or at least some of them--not sure I got to all of them) and I must say I'm a bit leary about the K theories. Of course I don't understand the science, which leaves me completely unqualified to make any sort of assessment, but I do know believe that is careful and her cautions make me, well, cautious. Having said all that, if we do go to another special diet, it will be SCD. I am hoping though to try other routes first, including perhaps NAET and then more nourishing traditions sort of stuff (slowly trying to get there for everyone, but unlike some people I envy ;-) I don't yet have a cow in the backyard). Restrictive diets, at least for us here, just suck. I hate them. As for the VSL, I have been meaning to look into it, but having read that people with diarrhea problems use it, I've put it to the bottom of the list because our issues here are just the opposite. Thanks for the welcome back and good wishes :-) Anita > > Anita, you might want to check out the new Vitamin K board and the use of VSL to break down oxalates, in lieu of or instead of the low oxalate diet. Fwiw, thinking it is a much more superior way to go than the diet. > > Btw, welcome back, hoping the New Year holds promise for lots of answers for you. > > > >
