Guest guest
Steph, I bought these for ds, but could never get them down him they are very yucky. We don't swallow caps here so everything has to go into a drink. But, the reason i bought them was to replace a herbal tincture containing the same stuff that i had been buying in from the US. This at the time was working brilliantly for my ds constipation. For quite a long period it was the only thing i had to use to get him going, so i would recommend this IMO as a good constipation remedy, well worth trying. Unfortunately, as with alot of things we have tried, ds gut became used to this remedy and it stopped being effective, ho-humm. Oxypowder is what is working here at present. hth, Nikki ps also meant to post earlier about our experiences with school taxis and bad behaviour from son. We had something similar to you, but i think much worse in our case as ds got chucked off two taxi runs for bad behaviour, i had to take him to school for a while as no one wanted to do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He now has a large minibus all to himself with a male escort and driver and is as happy as larry. I specified this provision to releave his anxiety of being in close proximity to other kids he did not like!!! BUT, also whilst taking him myself, we treated him for bad bacteria in the gut, and BINGO happy kid again :+)) This i think was the main reason for his behaviour, it all boils down to keeping that gut healthy, a constant battle here. > > Dr Usman is suggesting we might try barberry caps to help Tom's > gut. Guest guest
That's really helpful thank you. Tom, bless him, will take even very yucky supps. He is one of few children I've ever heard of who would take nystatin off a spoon (more than I'd do, yuk) His behaviour is quite a lot better the last three days. Oxypowder and charcoal are our saviours. !! Steph x > > > > Dr Usman is suggesting we might try barberry caps to help Tom's > > gut.
