Guest guest
Howdy, I did a Group search for " vertigo " , and up popped this Group - and here I am! Yep, I have vertigo - and it sucks. It hit me at work the day after Easter, and I've been unbalanced and off work since. I've been through the paces - E.R., moton sickness pills, primary care physician (3 times), home exercises - and though I can get around, I still have it. My primary care physician told me to call the hospital's physical therapy unit for special therapy (forget what it is called) and I did a week ago. I have an appointment in another two weeks - as if there is no hurry to get better and get back to work. (Which I just got back to in March after diagnosis and hospitalization for Congestive Heart Failure). Anyhow, I'm not here to whine - at least not this time. I came to check out the messages archives for " vertigo " . Wow - lotsa posts on this subject! I've gone through some of them, and see where I'm not alone - in fact, I'm not as severe as many. I do have a question: When I did the message search, a list of sponsers (read: advertisers) popped up at the top. One ad stated: " Simple Vertigo Exercises ChristianGoodman.com/vertigo - Easy exercises permanently cure vertigo as soon as today. " " As soon as TODAY???? Hmmm, sounds like those ads selling magical juice to cure cancer. When you click on it, they offer to send you one exercise for free. So, I'm sure that there are more execises, and I doubt that the are free. Soooo - I am asking if anyone here who has had vertigo, has ever checked this site out - and with what results? Regards, Mike
