this morning i walked the dog for 60 mins, then did 'cool if off

express' which is a nice 30 min stretch routine. i wasnt sure what

debbie was doing at the beginning though... some sort of spinal

massage done while laying on your back on the floor. i think that

the dog was bugging me at the time, trying to lay down on my mat

with me, so i missed the instructions.

burned 303 cals in this 90 mins.

this evening i will walk the dog again. ive not grown bored of all

of the walking yet... the time is going by faster and my endurance

has increased, so i can walk further, longer and faster! oh, plus

the toe is almost healed, so that is helping alot too.

the stupid thing still hurts but only at certain times and not all

of the time anymore... still a bit of swelling though at the joint.

this is week #4 since i injured it. im still wearing my old

nike workout shoes, instead of my fairly new avias (which pinch the

toe at just the wrong spot), and my feet are getting sore from

them... ugh! i must get into my proper shoes very soon!

tomorrow includes the daily walking, plus my choice of video

workout! it is a rest day on the original rotation, but i thought

that i would leave it open to do whatever i wanted. some time ago

i bought some old charlene prickett workouts at goodwill so im going

to do one of those... 'take another step' ... im pretty sure that

it is one she filmed at the banff hotel in alberta, amidst the

canadian rockies :) then the kids are going to a birthday party

in the city for a few hours, so im going to take chinook out hiking

in a lovely wooded area there while i wait.

:*carolyn.
