apartment with fungus growing through its walls.

Changes have been made to that apartment, but is it enough?

The family is still so concerned about the mold in their

apartment that their one-year-old daughter is staying at her

grandparent's house.

On Monday, News Channel 8 show video of the 's New Haven

apartment where mushrooms were literally popping through the wall.

The s were concerned about potential health hazards.

A repair-man did install some new sheet rock, but the family says

there is still much work to be done.

" As you can see, if you push the wall, it's still wet, and you can

feel it, it's still wet, if you put your finger in there, you can

see the mold still in the wall, " says .

News Channel 8's Tony Alvarado, a new haven building inspector, says

he was told by the repair man that work will continue tomorrow and

more sheet-rock replaced.

The city's keeping an eye on progress.

healthy to live in. It's a problem that's literally mushroomed out
