yesterday's workouts: bridge walk and AOS: Newport

In spite of caving in to a blueberry muffin from Starbucks that was brought into the office yesterday (450 cals, 22 fat, 6 protein, 57 carbs) I somehow managed to undo the damage from earlier this week because the scale this morning put me back at 189.  Whew!

I attribute this the difficult kettlebell workout from last night (AOS Newport which I reviewed recently) and to not eating past 7:30 at night at the insistence of Noel.  He's so right, eating at night can really do you in because most likely you aren't burning it off after that and the excess gets stored as fat.

The fact remains I still need to lose 49 more pounds and need to get more focused, i.e. drinking less alcohol and pushing myself more in my workouts.  I want to get the same kind of DOMS that Noel would give me.  Next week I am going to do a 1-2 body part per day blowout:
