Guest guest
Thanks, Carolyn. Nice to wake up to a cooler day, isn't it? It was actually chilly in the house this morning! Unfortunately, my motivation seems to have gone with the heat! I've got upper body work scheduled, and some cardio, but I'm dragging my behind this morning. My boys are out on a bike ride around town, so at least someone in this family is getting exercise! Guest guest
What on earth is a "combat interval"? I suppose since it is kickboxing it fits in but it sounds quite hostile! :-) Wow, a whole week with only one workout per day!! What are you going to do next week? Thursday workout Hi! This evening I did Absolute Kick box with Spreen. I did everything except the combat intervals, I think I'll do that premix for tomorrows workouts. I didn't wear my weighted gloves this time and I could tell the workout felt a little easier, but anything is easier than what I did last night!! I still burned 371 calories but was only in my zone half the workout. After tomorrow I'll of went an entire week of just one workout a day! I've only managed to get yoga in once this week and I don't like that. I like to get the minimum of 2 routines a week in, but its hard to try to fit it in with another workout in order to just do one workout for the day. Anyway... I'm glad tomorrow is Friday!! Have a nice evening! *~**~* Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL.com.

Guest guest
Guess I'd have to see it, sounds interesting. That's great that you're liking one workout a day! I can understand not liking not getting your yoga in. I haven't been doing much lately at all and miss it. Having a hard time trying to figure out how to fit it into the PHH rotation on non-stretch days without adding another workout. Next rotation I'll just include it somehow maybe. Guest guest
, It sounds like you got a great workout in. The calorie burn is great!!! Guest guest
Good job, ! I tried Turbo Sculpt for the first time, and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I can also FEEL it more than I thought I would. I think I was sceptical of this workout, even though I like Ab Jam...mass marketing doesn't do much for me, I guess. Anyway, aside from some slow cueing, this was great. Tons of shoulder work, and I can also feel my calves. I went with 3 pound weights, and was glad I didn't even bring out my 5's, although I thought about it. My biceps could have used more work, but everything else was fine with the 3's. A little short on abs and stretch I thought, but the stretch that was there was nicely done. Oh, part of the reason I'm probably feeling this more is because it is (gasp) my first weights workout of the week... My resting heart rate is still up because of my cold, and since my hrm can be wonky I'm not sure if it's always accurate, but it read 269 cals burned. That's HUGE for me. (even before the knee issue I was a wimp) LOL The knee is complaining a bit, but bearable. The rest of me feels great. :-) My hubby was back in emerg this morning, and the stronger drugs seem to finally be kicking in. The x-ray showed nothing nasty, but he'll be on IV antibiotics for the time being. He says it is less sore, as well. Yay. I think the infection was more stubborn than anyone expected. in Ontario -----Original Message----- From: Today I did cardio and worked shoulders. Guest guest
Hi ! Sorry you didn't like this one! I actually do like it - I added hand weights to up the intensity. Lately, though, I'm on a VERY basic kick - I like my cardio to be really simple so it could be a mood thing! But, at least you didn't spend $$$ for it! Guest guest
I really liked this workout too and I really don't care for step cardio. She kept it pretty simple so I didn't do too badly either. --Kathy Calvin: I'm a genius, but I'm a misunderstood genius. Hobbes: What's misunderstood about you? Calvin: Nobody thinks I'm a genius -------------- Original message -------------- From: fitgrl222@... Hi, This morning I did the last of the 4 Day Split workouts. I did Low Impact Step + shoulders, calves & core. I think this is my favorite workout of them all. I absolutely LOVED the step portion all the way from the first step of the warm up. The music is awesome and the combos are so fun. While doing the first combo my heart rate wasn't really getting up there that much, but when she adds on those blasts in-between each combo that helps to boost it up. I didn't care though, I was having so much fun. When I previewed this workout the steps looked really complex, but they weren't bad at all to catch on to. There were a couple that if you aren't careful you could trip lol I came close to that on those outer thigh sweep things from each side. The shoulder work was great. This proved that working just one body part at a time and burning it out is what gets you to that maximum fatigue. My shoulders were so fried by the time we got to that final exercise using the band that I had to stop a couple times. That's the kind of work I like to feel!!! lol Anyway, here is the breakdown of the weight section. Round #1 pyramid up overhead press- 8/10/12/15 Round # 2 seated isolation press- 12 lb up right row- 12 lb Round # 3 triple play DB lateral raise- 8 lb DB bent arm lateral raise- 8 lb Round # 4- Double Trouble seated front rear raise # 1- 7 lb rear flys # 1- 5 lb seated front rear raise # 2- 7 lb rear flys # 2- 5 lb Round # 5 Bonus Burn external rotation pulls- this was the final fatigue for me calves- this was my favorite. For the last exercise she uses 15 lb DB and that finished up the fry session for that body part lol I burned 455 calories. ) Now that I've done each workout all the way through I think I will be breaking them up from here on out. I'll have to plan out what I want to do. Hope you all have a great day!! See what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage.

Guest guest
IMax is a lot of fun but I have to modify most of the blasts to low impact because of my f'd up feet. It's frustrating! I hear ya! I got really winded at certain points in the workouts and wanted to drop to low impact. It's just a really tough workout. ~**~~**~Check out AOL Money Finance's list of the hottest products and top money wasters of 2007.
Guest guest
I walked for 35 mins on the treadmill this morning, and it was a fight all the way. No energy or motivation, and no good reason for either , 35 minutes is excellent for someone who has no energy or motivation. Guest guest
Oh my, yes! You deserve a medal, , for making it all the way through! IMax is a lot of fun but I have to modify most of the blasts to low impact because of my f'd up feet. It's frustrating! I picked up Low Max but it's still a virgin for me. Hugs, fitgrl222@... wrote: Hi, This morning I woke up with my right side of my shoulder blade aching. It felt like a combination of soreness and strain, if that makes sense. I did the dreaded workout that was on the schedule, Imax 2. It had been a long time since I done this workout in its entirety and my body was feeling it. I'm very proud of myself for completing it and I didn't even have to modify But believe me, it was tough. The hardest blasts are 5 and 9 and then when I got to 10 she says "this one easier" the step part is, but that last blast just about done me in. I burned 535 calories. Tomorrow is Drill Max, but I think I'm going to stick with my plan of doing the upper body and then the ball abs from B & G. At least that's what I'm feeling like right now. Those drills make me wanna puke thinking about lol Take care! ~**~~**~ Check out AOL Money Finance's list of the hottest products and top money wasters of 2007. Guest guest
Oh, my goodness I can't even think about Imax without getting breathless. I've tried it once, and had to put it back on the 'someday' pile. I walked for 35 mins on the treadmill this morning, and it was a fight all the way. No energy or motivation, and no good reason for either. Some days are just better than others. :-) , loving this red text -----Original Message-----From: [mailto: ]On Behalf Of fitgrl222@... Guest guest
I just finished doing the Biggest Loser, The Workout. I did the whole DVD from cooldown, both cardio sessions, the strength & sculpt, the boot camp and the cool down. It sure felt good. I am going to try to do at least a couple videos a week and then log them down in a spreadsheet as I do them so I will at least know what I have. in CA Hotmail has tools for the New Busy.
