Guest guest
I was refused dental implants at the Harvard Dental School through their student program because of my AIDS diagnosis. Here is the student doctor's email to me: Snip:I have discussed with my director the concerns I had about the surgical procedure you would need in order to get implant restorations. Unfortunately, we agreed that regarding your level of Tcell (around 200) this procedure has a significant risk of infection and is contraindicated, especially with a sinus augmentation prcedure (that you would necessarily need). I wrote back that he needs to speak to my HIV/AIDS specialist, Dr Boswell, who thinks my immune system can handle the procedure. And that my t cells are averaging 300. The student doctor says he will speak to my AIDS doc and reconsider my blood work. Anyone got some backup information i can add in my favor to undergo the dental implant procedures. I need some teeth Marathon guy K
