I fixed my workout inventory spreadsheet yesterday (I found an old file on my external hard drive and copied over the messed up info, then made sure I added in all the workouts I'd gotten/deleted ones I'd gotten rid of since I'd saved that particular version of it) and according to it, I did this workout on April 30, 2009. I'm pretty sure that is correct but I didn't remember any of it. Plus, it doesn't help at all that The FIRM chooses to name their workouts in such ridiculously similar ways so I might think I'd done "Cardio Sculpt" but in reality I did "Super Cardio Sculpt" or some other sort of nonsense. Anyway, enough complaining because I truly enjoyed this tortoise style workout!! It is primarily sculpting using dumbbells and the fanny lifter but there are some cardio intervals, including one 4-limbed one with light weights. I only got a little lost on the cardio so that means it is super simple and since it was easy to follow, I was able to push myself harder and enjoyed doing that too. The sculpting is all very easy to follow and most of it challenging and fun. I finally moved back up to using 10 lbs for all of the heavy weight exercises, including the leg presses! I missed my 10s! Next milestone will be building back up to my 12 and 15s. Anyway, using the 10s added to the challenge and made it all much more fun! I also used 7s for medium (which I think was one exercise) and 4s for most light weight exercises except one where you're draped over the fanny lifter and v-ing your arms up in the air, focusing on the shoulder in a killer way. 4s were way too much so I went to 3s. I might try 5s for some of the light weight stuff in my next workout. I found 10s worked great except on the pec flies & concentration curls. My right arm was fine with them but my left really struggled. It will be fun to watch that arm get stronger. It is amazing how one or two pounds can make a huge difference in the quality of your workout!

Allie leads this one. She cues wonderfully and is very fun. The music was pretty good. I hate the set with the huge fans but after a minute or two it fades out for me so that's good. I don't think there was anything unusual about this workout but it was just fun. There's also some leg work with the fanny lifter that was challenging and the abs were eh. Challenging but you don't do much for the lower abs or obliques (except some stuff sitting on the fanny lifter) and I missed that. It is a 55 minute workout but it flew by. There was a tiny bit of optional higher impact cardio, adding a hop in the middle of double-side steps but I think that was it and Libby is showing the low impact version of it too.

Gotta run to work in a few, then got lots of busy stuff later on, my usual Thursday running around like crazy. Friday is a rest day according to the rotation schedule but, since I'd normally workout on Fridays because it is easy to get it in, I'm going to do a virgin yoga workout for what I hope will be a good stretch and some good mind/body relaxation/connection time. I love the FIRM but their stretch segments, though often filled with great stretches are way too short and I don't often hold the stretches any longer or add on any so a day just for stretching out sounds wonderful!

I hope everyone else had fun workouts today too!
