Generic HIV meds

Epivir is also available in generic. It may be possible for people taking

Epzicom (abacavir plus Epivir) to save themselves or their insurer some money by

switching to generics of those meds, particularly after there is competition in

manufacturing the meds.

I take Viramune, and intend to look into switching from once daily Viramune XR

to generic twice daily Viramune. It won't save me anything, but may save money

for ADAP and/or my Medicare Part D plan. I am already taking Isentress twice

daily, so it is just as convenient.
