Guest guest
I have read how mold spores release mycotoxins after they get in your body and become activated by moisture and warmth.and darkness .. light theropy may combat fungal infections <http://www.dukemednews.org/news/article.php?id=8455> thought this was interesting, because I know that sunlight dries up mold and basically makes it inactive, but it just flies around intil it finds a moist dark place to get activated, like our bodies. I have been wondering lately if I could be outside enough without haveing a heart attack from it,(because thats what it fells like will happen) that mabye it would help my body fight this disease. this article goes along with what I've been thinking. right after I got out of the moldydeath house, if I went out in sunlight it made me very ill,and still does. thought it was from the heat, but I'm starting to wonder if light and heat at the same time causes what happens to me outside.(seperate from air quaility, becouse I've noticed that even after a rain, when air is cleaner if sun comes out and it gets hot, I still get very ill) I'm thinking that heat stirs up the action of the mold/mycotoxins in my body and the light(vit.D) on the skin, in my eyes, on my head somehow causes a upset to whats going on inside. read that we need 20 minutes of sunlight everyday to get vit. D. we need everyday,(for those who can no longer drink milk because of food allergies, etc.) and have also read enough that I'm thinking vit. D may help our bodies fight this disease., this may sound a little out there, but we know that mold colonizes in our body and it obviously does well in there and also fights to keep other things out or from takeing over. like certain bacteria, viruses, other toxins? maybe, and antibiotics (mold) actually helps it get worse. I think mold has evolved to the point that we are going to have a plague and if we survive this one, is the question.
Guest guest
It's not far out at all. I have a light machine for skin that clears an infection on skin with light treatments. I can't remember name of it. Not long ago I had infection on skin and I had put antibiotic ointment on it and hydrogen peroxide and still kept getting worse, then I went swimming with a friend and sat out in sun for awhile and infection was gone next day. How deep it helps I don't know but circulation should bring all blood to the surface of skin for a 'zap' of sunlight'. I don't wear sunblock unless I'm going to be out in sun for more than an hour. If sun is real strong, noon, etc and summer, maybe a half hour without sunblock only. I think lots of light in your house too. I pull open all curtains every day. In some parts of house I don't need them for privacy, I have no curtains or blinds so I get all the light. > > I have read how mold spores release mycotoxins after they get in your > body and become activated by moisture and warmth.and darkness >
Guest guest
thanks barb, something else I thought about to is that while exposed all them years, I was more depressed on days when the sun didn't shine. I know theres some information on this and a certain light thats supposed to help this. supposed to be like the sun rays. I keep thinking I had that, and remember telling my mom back than about my depression getting worse on cloudy days, several in a row, and during the winter. will see if I can find something on that. looks like it might all tie in together. > > > > I have read how mold spores release mycotoxins after they get in > your > > body and become activated by moisture and warmth.and darkness > > >

Guest guest
Bright light makes a huge difference in me. I'm getting a much bigger brighter light in my kitchen. They have the new tube lights that they call full spectrum to use in place of flourescent that are much brighter, whiter light. I like them alot. I have a hard time sometimes just focusing on what I am doing if I am in dim light. Faint light makes me want to take a nap. No matter how motivated I am I feel bogged down by dim light so it affects me greatly. Skin light I was referring to is called Happy Skin Light. It isn't for the winter blah's but acts kind of like a microbial light for the skin. It works for skin infections like acne and rosacea. I had rosacea for awhile and now just use it occasionally. There is a specific light they talk about for the winter blahs. I got that also!! However I think just very brightly lite rooms and drapery open works as well. With the lights that you purchase for it, you have to sit in front of them for certain amount of time, so that it hits a gland behind your eye, called pineal gland I think that affects your sleep/wake cycle. However just general bright light should work also. Stay in bright light all day until evening. Then stay in dim light a couple hours before bedtime. I had some HUGE sleep issues so I know all the tricks. I wouldn't bother with the special light. I would just get yourself in really, really bright light all day. The brighter the better but don't hurt your eyes of course. If nothing else it will help you to sleep better at night. I don't wear dark sunglasses either anymore. I wear just enough that I don't have glare, and can see well driving. At first it was hard on my eyes but now my eyes are getting used to the increased light. > > thanks barb, something else I thought about to is that while exposed > all them years, I was more depressed on days when the sun didn't > shine. Guest guest
I ordered one of these lights a couple years ago but haven't used it in a while. I will start using it and see how it affects me.
