Guest guest
Tonite was fun! We did three sets of 8-12 reps on 4 chest and 3 tricep machines. One of the chest machines was one I hadn't done before, and I always like to try something new! When I'm doing these upper body workouts with Noel they never *seem* that hard because we are talking almost the entire time. When the workout is over I'm always thinking, " I could do more I'm not sore yet, has it really been a half hour? " . I'm always a tad bummed that it's over and it's time to leave. Oh sure, I could stay there and do more on my own and sometimes I'll run for a bit but you know me, I'm more comfortable lifting in a group exercise class or at Studio LouLou by myself. Now that I am home and it's an hour and a half later, I can feel the beginnings of DOMS settling in. Yay! Mind you, when we are doing legs (which is next week <groan>) time does NOT pass quickly and I can't even talk with Noel because it is GRUELING and takes all my concentration, breath, and effort. No, on Leg Day when he announces, " You're done! " I can't hobble away fast enough.. Tomorrow I begin my 4:00 am workouts again. Or rather, the alarm goes off at 4:00, I shuffle out of bed around 4:20 and make coffee, guzzle a couple of cups of coffee and water, pee a bunch, THEN work out. Wish me luck. My plan is to do Weber's lower body and abdominals kettlebell workouts and end with Body Combat and some athletic stretching. I am very impatient and wish my 3 new kettlebells were here! I ordered a 35, 40, and 45 pounder since my 25 was too light for single arm rows and pullovers (there were only 20 reps but still). Obviously working out with Noel has really paid off! I'm so much stronger now than I've ever been! I want to get RIPPED! Schwarzenhager
