Hi EveryoneToday's workouts were: PowerFit Harmony Power Up and PowerFit Chest, Triceps and Glutes. I added my usual intensity modifications to Power Up (i.e., weighted gloves, step, and large range of motion and impact here and there as it seemed to fit). I always am surprised when Power Up is over b/c most of 's cardio has 3 combos - one on the floor, one on the floor holding the band for resistance, and one using the band as a step. This one just have the floor combo and the band as a step. So I sort of always feel something is missing! I enjoyed Chest, Tris and Glutes - mostly floorwork in this one. I used both the green and pink band together - works

well! For the floowork where you have the band wrapped around your foot I used my longer blue band from the Dozois workouts. My add ons today were - Shape 20 Min Makeover 10 minute cardio add on. This was decent - a bit repetitive, but I think it is difficult to put something together that is creative in 10 minutes -afterall, you'd have to break down and teach a combo and then you wouldn't have much time left to actually do it. Elise Gulhan leads this and she uses mostly athletic/kickboxing type moves. The impact is mixed. It definately makes for a good add on if you want an extra 10 min of cardio in there. May also make a nice warm-up to another workout. Tomorrow the plan is to add the 20 min "interval" workout on to my PowerFit routines. I may also add the ab work from this DVD on - but it looks a bit barre-ish which scares me b/c my back does not handle barre-ish type ab work. I may do it, but modify - anything w/ a

c-curve I'll lay down for!I also added on chest, triceps and leg work from Programs 3 & 4 of Margaret 's Fight Age With Strength. Pretty good routines - especially the lower body work. It is all traditional stuff but Margaret seems to know how to fatigue those muscles with good-old-fashioned flooorwork. I also did the standing ab/oblique work. Program 3 has ab work done on the floor, but I'm so not a fan of crunches - and I was short on time. In Programs 3 & 4 she has a backgrounder with her - Heidi - which made it nice to have some banter between them. All of the workouts are filmed outdoors. Down side is, no music. But you can always play your own.Take care everyone! Oh - I think as a grand finale to my PowerFit rotation I'm going to do all of 's FIRM workouts - so, Express Cardio, Jiggle Free Arms, Super Body Sculpt (is that the title??? from the "6" pack?), the workout she did for the

BSS3 system (total muscle shaping????), and the workout she did for the TransFIRMer system (ultimate calorie blaster??). For the jiggle free day I'll need an add on for lower body - I may thrown in a PowerFit Harmony there and maybe a core workout from Harmony on that day. Should be fun and will extend my rotation by about a week.Donna
