Guest guest
hi all. i just switched out Isentress for Edurant. due to years of high CPK values, i made the switch without working thru my Isentress reserves. i WOULD have simply dropped it off at one of NYC's many " Be A Hero, Donate HIV Meds " drop-boxes, but my Isentress is no longer in each original labelled container, as required by those drop-box rules. i would simply put it all in a large amber pill bottle, and every new month would be added to the bottom of the bottle. once a year i would work thru the entire amber bottle b4 adding a new month's supply to the bottom, so i would always know that no tablet is over 12 months old...most FDA-approved meds will easily last twice that long anyway. my last such emptying-out was done 7-8 months ago. no tablet there-in is over 12 months old. if someone wants to claim approximately 180 good tablets of Isentress (raltegravir) AND wants to provide the hassle-free means of transporting them, let me know. i'm in Harlem, NYC. for that matter, if anyone knows a place in Manhattan i could drop these meds off despite having an old, faded label on the amber bottle, i'd be happy to do that as well. i just hate to see so much good medication wasted.
