Weird workout

I did not want to want to workout today. I was distracted and still out of my groove from spring break so I was just in a weird mood. I forced myself to anyway, especially because yesterday was all messed up and I missed my workout then. I was going to do Super Cardio but woke up with the ball of my foot hurting quite badly as I walked so I rethought a 63 minute workout with lots of high impact and decided to do Cardio Sculpt Blaster (30 minutes, less high impact) instead. I know it hurts because my workout and everything else shoes are horribly worn out and I need to replace them (have needed to for months but either haven't had time when I've had money or had no money when I had time) so I'm not worried about it and yes, Friday I am going to replace the darn shoes! Anyway, I started doing Cardio Sculpt Blaster (and my foot was calmed down too) but, especially due to my mood, I just could not get into it at all. Kay leads it and she seemed so cheerleaderish and annoying I couldn't stand her and she was adding on too fast for me today so after trying hard for about 10 minutes I just said, screw this and put in Fat Blaster (which I like a lot) even though it is 45 minutes long and also has lots of high impact. I was doing pretty good with that one, not great though, missing a lot of cues and messing up things I know how to do well so that wasn't helping my mood though my foot did fine with it unmodified), then the phone rings and it was my son telling me his glasses broke for the 3rd time in a month (the lens kept popping out on one side) and the 2nd time this week! I was so ticked but tried to get back to my workout and it just wasn't happening. Nothing was enjoyable or going well so I said, stronger language, took the tape out and stomped upstairs for a shower. (Then drove to the school to get the glasses, then to the optometrist 20 minutes away to get them fixed, they promised they made it really strong this time, then to school to deliver them, then to work, ugh.) I didn't cooldown or stretch and I think that was a mistake because I seemed to have pulled something in my right shoulder, towards my neck and it is nearly impossible to put my head back without pain right now (definite muscle stuff, nothing more serious). I took some ibuprofen so I could get through work and hopefully by tomorrow it will be fine. So, the workout was weird but I did 35 minutes total and burned nearly 200 calories while feeling totally out of sorts so that was still good and I did something period so that is great. Tomorrow will be better. It is FIRM Strength and I think I liked that one a lot the one time I did it. We'll see tomorrow though.
