Guest guest
Hello to all. Our kombucha brewing has been doing well; we are now brewing 3 gallons at a time and I also gave a small scoby to a friend. I like adding a raw strawberry to a quart jar ... but I do not save the resulting scoby (I assume I cannot use it?). We just drink it down. Because of this, I usually do not add anything to it so I can save the scoby. Our kefir is doing well too ... I think I like the kefir better (is that all right to say on this group? lol). It seems lower-maintenance, and that better suits my lifestyle. I tried to search the group messages but did not have time to sift through them all!! I learned a few more things in my search though. My question - how much is good to drink each day? Can one have TOO much? I drink about 3 cups a day, sometimes 4. I was not sure if one could 'overdose' on probiotics???? I am not having an adverse reaction in any way, but do I really need all that kombucha? Thank you!
