Guest guest
It's been awhile since I have added a post, but I read everyone's - we had been to U of FL and our DS went to ERP and we felt he had made progress in leaps. He is also on Prozac and Wellbutrin. We thought he had given up fighting this OCD/anxiety but the ERP gave him and us hope again. He has been in school all day since school started (grades aren't that great) but after being out of school for one year- we have something to celebrate. I know that trying to find out where you fit at 14 is just something a 14 goes through. But changing from " country " to the black clothes, constantly changing his whole wardrobe is driving us crazy- along with the clothing change is music, actions, ect. DS wants to go off the medication and we are enforcing that he takes it throughout the school year and maybe he can challenge it this summer. Issue is I'm so afraid of what " might " happen if he goes off of the medication period. Those darker days, which I know can happen again-almost make me freeze with the thought. Has anyone had the experience that their child did go off medication and made it without relapsing into depression/OCD thoughts? Also, is there proof that natural vitamins help? Thanks for any feedback. /
