Guest guest
Finally pulled the pneumo23 titers after around 8 months of not watching them. dd got the shot in June 08 (right after she turned 2) and had great response but her titers were dropping by 1/2 every 4 months and when your talking half lives thats a long time. 22-23 months later we just pulled again and she's only still responding to 50% of the strains and you need 70% or more to be considered a responder so basically a non responder now. HIB became non responder after I think only 8 months? NK Cells have always been low, about half what they should be but ANC is normal or near normal. All the Ig's are fine except IgM which is low as its always been. I keep her isolated since she gets sick easy but nothing like my older CVID kid did at this age where you looked at her funny and she'd get pneumonia. Lilly was dx'd with CVID at 1 and ordered IVIG but due to insurance issues we got kicked to a different care center at that point and they have been doing the wait and see thing since she's stable. Think its worth dragging her back in for to get the immuno's opinion? We'd have an insurance battle that I really don't feel like taking on at this point to get her down there. 9 CVID Lilly 4 next week:)
