Guest guest
I have been inactive with the group for a long time but I thought perhaps someone might have experienced something similar and might possibly have a suggestion. Our insurance has been charging my daughter's IgG under major medical and I just discovered (they did not even let us know in any way we were nearing our max) that she has met her Lifetime Maximum Benefits, and we are left with thousands of dollars of outstanding bills on top of that. I am distressed as I have no idea how we will get her medication and have her see her doctors with no medical coverage. Our income is too much for medi-cal. In addition to cvid, she has jra, and two other autoimmune diseases. There is no way we can afford her medications and medical care ourselves and without coverage I feel lost to see she gets the care she needs. She is 20 and as a " disabled dependant " is eligible for five more years on our coverage but not if the coverage is exhausted. It seems her IgG should have been charged to her prescription coverage as we administer it ourselves just like with her Enbrel injections...we do not use home health svcs. Any wisdom would be greatly appreciated - I'm in shock right now. mom to , who just turned 20, cvid, jra.....
