Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Today's workout was strength training. I did various weight exercises with 2.5 minutes of running in between each set, totalling 20 minutes of running. I wanted to do 30 minutes, but my body said, Stop! Save some energy for the rest of the day and we'll run longer next time. ;-) Here are the exercises I did: - front shoulder raises - full push-ups (woo-hoo!!) - reverse dumbbell flys - bent-over rows - dumbbell flys - deadlift - hammer curls - lateral raises Then I finished with 15 minutes of walking. There was a discussion a little while back about lost fitness and for anyone who is despairing about having to work back to a previous fitness level, DON'T! Trust me, it does come back much quicker than you think. When I started running again, after 5 minutes, my chest felt like it was on fire. However, in just ~3 weeks, I'd say that I've regained about 75% of my fitness level. Don't think about it - just do your workout, be consistent, and you'll notice HUGE improvements. With love, Yuna
