We went through this when he was about three with the fecal smearing and it nearly drove me nuts. He will only wear boxers, and refuses to have a bm in the toilet unless I catch him just before and get him onto the potty quickly. He was almost completely trained a few years ago, but after a hospital stay for a bout of anorexia we lost all ground in the bm area. Any ideas???
