Without one big brew container I use a bunch of them ... and this time some came out and some ... i don't think so: the dubious ones either don't have a scoby on top, or have a scoby but it's brown all through ... maybe i ought to throw those two out ... and the liquid and start them over ... maybe consolidate and get one big 3-gallon container ... with a spigot ... expertise warmly welcome as to my scoby do's & don'ts here ...
