Guest guest
Krista, I also second the recommendation for Miralax. Right after my daughter turned one the constipation began for her. I took her to a couple of specialist & the only thing I ever got was a list of foods high in fiber to feed her. In her case she was already eating a lot of foods high in fiber so the list was no help. Our Ped. did give us a prescription for Miralax (back then you couldn't buy it over the counter). We began using it & it did help get her on a regular cycle. I sympathize with you because I remember crying watching my daughter cry & scream in pain from being constipated. The CF diet did help her constipation for a few weeks, but then it returned. We began working with a nurtritionist & started digestive enzymes. After that we were able to take her off Miralax and she stayed regular. She's never had a problem with constipation since. I suggest checking into Houston's Enzymes (Google it).
