Hi Everyone,

Ok - I think I'm addicted to the MM workouts - it is definately the intensity and efficiency that has me hooked.  I was thinking I'd do my run/walk this morning, since I missed Wednesday's session - but instead, I decided to do MM Endurance # 2 plus a one mile walk on the TM (split into a half mile for a warm-up and a half mile for a cool-down).  What is most appealing to me about these MM workouts is that they are short and efficient - instead of spening an hour to break a mild sweat, and get my HR up to a mild level (not that there is anything wrong with that, once in awhile!)  I'm sweating and breathing hard and done in about 30 minutes! YAY!  After my cool-down walk I spent some time stretching on my own - using some of the exercises from the Katy Bowman DVD I reviewed yesterday as well as my own favorites.

I'm not sure what is up for tomorrow - we may do another family walk/hike (if it isn't raining, it is going on 3 1/2 weeks w/out rain here)  or maybe I'll do my run/walk session tomorrow or maybe just Pilates or stretching since it is my usual active recovery day anyway.

Take care - TGIF!Donna

You're making me want these soooooooo badly. Miriam had to get glasses and start orthodontic treatment last month though and my car needs brakes and who knows what next week so my money has been gone and spent for a while. I'm going to keep haunting amazon and ebay for them though, maybe, maybe somehow they'll show up cheap.

Have a fun family walk/hike (how cool!) if you can! We finally got rain yesterday. Incuding a drenching downpour I was caught in. I literally could ring out my clothes and shoes afterwards, but it is still muggy here with 94% humidity! (Lower temps expected though, low to mid 80s instead of the low to mid 90s we've been having so I'm not complaining.)
