Guest guest
We are in the beginning process of all the immune work up for my 21month old. He was diagnosed with CVID. We do not vaccinate, so the diagnosis was made based on very low B cells and Natural killer cells. B/c we do not vaccinate and therefore are not willing to give the Pneumococcal vax and then check to see if he made antibodies..the immuno was very understanding about this and said she would check to see if he made antibodies to his own blood type (?). I'm not sure if I got the wording correct. She is out of town for the week. Does anyone know what she's talking about? I'd like to read more about it. He is " A negative " blood type...not sure if that matters. Thanks! Kim
