Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm and my son Drew (4) has a rare genetic condition that encompasses Di Region II although he does not have Di. This has resulted in following IgG and IgA Levels along with low vaccine immunity. Currently he is dx with hypogammaglobinemia or CVID depending on which of his doctors you are talking too. His IgG is 464 and IgA is 20 currently. We've tried proflatic Septra tx for about 6 months but it's not helping. He has had 4 sets of ear tubes, with his most recent ear infection on Christmas Eve along with Pneumonia in both October and Dec. =( B/C his levels are borderline IVIG has been discussed but not yet tried. I look forward to learning from everyone one what proceeding with infusions would entail, possible other options, and managing everyday life, as every time we take him out he gets sick. *
