Guest guest
, I would always start slower because you don't know how each med is. My daughter loves gammagaurd and is the only thing we use now. She has tried several brands and has had bad reactions to three. I can't say gammagard is the best because everyone reacts differently but for us it is the only way to go, her energy last longer, less infections and over all health is better! We are switching from Privigin to Gammagard via IV this weekend. I welcome anyones thoughts and experiences on switching brands. Did you start experiencing side effects again? Do you have to start the infusion slower again and titrate up over time again? Does one brand protect better or last longer in in the body? Thanks!!! Guest guest
Hi ! We switched from one poduct to gammunex two years ago. We have been VERY happy with it. The girls have no side effects at all....no bumps or swelling....nothing. Keep in mind that everyone is different though and what may be good for one person, may not be good for another. I know many people who use gammunex and are very pleased. On the same note, we use it subq for the girls. I used it IV for myself and experience far fewer side effects then on other products. Guest guest
Sorry! Just re-read your post and noticed you said gammaguard, not gammunex. Cannot speak personally on Gammaguard, but have heard good reviews. Terri > > Hi List members! Happy New Year! > > We are switching from Privigin to Gammagard via IV this weekend.
