Guest guest
" I have been on sites where moderators let bullies rule the roost and it's not fun... it feels like the playground in grade school all over again. " Dragging things out is just messy, hard on your nerves and the moderators nerves, and not helpful for the purpose of the community. " PC Free has been banned by me today. I would have done it earlier but I have been in transit between the US and Canada, and I have also been delayed by business. Only now, at 2:47 AM Canada time have I had a chance to look at the forums to see what is going on. The reason for the banning was NOT the argument PC was making about a 9/11 conspiracy, but the rude behavior toward . 1) If anyone thinks my resolution harsh, let me just say that I have learned from experience that letting stuff drag out too long seems never to solve the problem and only antagonizes members. 2) If anyone thinks I banned PCfree because he was antagonizing a moderator, let PC's own words show that he thought he was antagonizing a member. Here at FAM, the admins are willing to take a bit of abuse, but we are not willing to let the members be abused. Since PCfree thought he was arguing with a member, and then persisted after explained what is role is here, it seemed apparent that PC's behavior was not going to change.
